This picture shows the bolt being
held in the bolt jig which is then accurately dialed in ready to be machined.
The bolt tenon turned down ready
for threading.
Using a single point cutting tool
the tenon is now screw cut to 5/16 X 24
Finally the Remington extended bolt knob is
fitted to the threaded tenon.
